Yeah The. Creek used to be a proper bear-pit! Lively as fuck, very gladiatorial atmosphere back in the Malcom Hardee days, not as bad as that now, the area has gone through a massive transformation and with it the clientele! Still have the odd rough night in there with a few on the bag but nothing like it used to be.

Agree these days, his stand up is arse clenchingly bad. Years ago though I used to think he was half decent, don't know if my tastes have changed or if he's just become what he needs to be to get on the telly and make some dough. I've also seen him in a couple of telly programmes where he was quite amusing and came across pretty well. Hence he was not on my drown list.

Everyone has different humour, but crazy how much it costs to see some of them nowadays.
Always go to Lee Hurst's club in Bethnal Green where its generally a fiver to get in and you end up seeing some cracking comedians.
And obviously some shit ones, though not a disaster if you've paid fuck all.

It's a disgrace that GUTTERCUNTS like McIntyre are filling monster venues and a fucking genius (and I don't use that lightly) like Paul Foot is still lacking the recognition he deserves. Especially after several cunts have nicked half his act. But at least I get to see him at nice small venues like comedy should be watched.
